Sportico, a sports business media firm owned by Penske, has recently published a list of the most well-paid athletes in history.

The top 50 positions were occupied by seven boxers, with Floyd “Money” Mayweather leading the pack of boxers at No. 8 with earnings of $1.11 billion in non-inflation-adjusted and $1.41 billion in inflation-adjusted. Michael Jordan, a basketball legend, topped the list with $3.3 billion in inflation-adjusted earnings.

Prominent boxing figures were also included in the list, with the first amount representing inflation-adjusted earnings and the second amount indicating non-inflation-adjusted earnings.
