Daniel Dubois has revealed that negotiations are underway for a July showdown against Oleksandr Usyk at Wembley Stadium. The British puncher, who last fought in September and pulled off a sensational stoppage of Anthony Joshua at the same venue, believes he will become the first man to knock out Usyk if the proposed rematch comes together.
Speaking to The Ring, Dubois emphasized the magnitude of a second clash with Usyk, describing it as “the biggest fight in the world” and insisting there is unfinished business following their 2023 encounter. Dubois’s team has long maintained that a contentious knockdown in the first fight - initially ruled a low blow - may have altered the outcome, fueling his confidence going into another potential meeting.

As a fallback option, Dubois says he is willing to face Joseph Parker - originally scheduled to fight him before Dubois withdrew due to illness - or even U.K. veteran Derek Chisora if Usyk negotiations stall. Still, the 25-year-old’s preference remains a rematch for Usyk’s world heavyweight titles, which he believes could become a defining, history-making event.
“The Usyk fight for undisputed would create history,” Dubois stated.
