Michael Oliveira, a promising super middleweight boxer, is gearing up for a significant comeback in 2024, aiming to reestablish himself as a force in the division. At 33 years old, Oliveira boasts an impressive record of 22-2, with 16 of those victories coming by way of knockout. He is determined to recapture the form that saw him win his first 16 fights and be considered a world title contender.

Originally from Brazil and having lived in Miami, Oliveira now resides in Denver, where he plans to make his return to the ring in March, fighting at 170 lbs before settling into the 168 lb super middleweight division. His comeback is being guided by internationally known matchmaker Jon Beninati, who is assisting Oliveira with coaching and finding potential sponsors. Beninati’s experience with world champions gives Oliveira confidence in his path forward.

Despite a period of inactivity over the past decade, Oliveira has not been away from the sports world entirely. He has overcome injuries and taken time off to pursue a career as a Police Officer in Denver. His journey outside the ring, including becoming a father and engaging with community service, has added to his life experience, contributing to his personal and professional growth.

Oliveira, who had a brief stint as a Brazilian soccer player and only two amateur fights, acknowledges his youthful mistakes in the past. He now feels more mature and stronger, both physically and mentally. Oliveira is keen on taking a couple of fights to shake off the rust and then seek a significant opportunity to prove himself.
