At the bustling Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, another sold-out crowd was left stunned and captivated by the night’s boxing events. Middleweight titans Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson (13-1, 7 KOs) and Vladimir “24k” Hernandez (14-5, 6 KOs) faced off in a main event that certainly lived up to the hype.

Middleweight southpaw Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson, hailing from Baltimore, faced unexpected resistance from Hernandez of Ciudad Lerdo, Mex. While Simpson began with a strong counter-attack in the first round, Hernandez proved to be relentless in his aggression in the subsequent rounds. The suspenseful contest had the audience on edge till the final bell, with the final scores coming in at 76-76, 78-74, 79-73, and 78-74 KH, giving Hernandez the majority decision victory.

Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Andreas Katzourakis (11-0, 9 KOs) from Athens showcased a brilliant comeback against Houston’s Raphael “Trouble” Igbokwe (16-5, 7 KOs). After a rough start in the opening round where he was knocked down, Katzourakis dug deep, displaying a fierce resilience and eventually dominating the bout. His perseverance culminated in the eighth and final round, where a barrage of unanswered punches led the referee to call the fight in his favor.

The night was not short of controversies either. In a tight bout, Czarina “The Black Rose” McCoy (11-2, 3 KOs) of Las Vegas suffered a split decision loss to Carisse “The Golden Child” Brown (10-6, 6 KOs) from Lakeland. Brown's knockdown in the sixth round, which many argue should not have been counted due to a foot foul, proved to be a pivotal moment in deciding the bout.
