In the main event, former IBF World Bantamweight champion Emmanuel “Manny” Rodriguez (21-2-1, 13 KOs) and Melvin “Melo” Lopez (29-1, 19 KOs) clashed for the vacant IBF World Bantamweight title at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, a boxing event organized by TGB Promotions on Showtime.

All in all, the bout, scheduled for 12 rounds, was competitive from the onset. Both fighters started by focusing on jabs, but Rodriguez seemed to be the more aggressive of the two. Rodriguez's strategy appeared effective as he managed to land numerous significant blows on Lopez. Despite Rodriguez seemingly winning most rounds, his face showed the toll of the battle. The twelfth round was particularly dramatic as Rodriguez managed to knock Lopez down three times. In the end, all scores favored Rodriguez with a unanimous 120-105.

In the co-main event, Gary Antuanne Russell (17-0, 17 KOs) faced Kent Cruz (16-1-3, 10 KOs). The bout was short-lived as Russell, showcasing his prowess, knocked down Cruz twice in the first round. The fight was halted at 2:39 of the first round after Cruz was deemed unable to continue.

In the undercard, Travon “The Sniper” Marshall (8-1, 7 KOs) was stopped by Olympian Gabriel Maestre (6-0-1, 5 KOs) in the second round. Michael Angeletti (9-0, 7 KOs) secured a victory against Jonathan “Bum Bum” Lopez Marcano (8-1-2, 4 KOs) over ten rounds. Jose “Merciless” Benavidez, Jr. (28-2-1, 19 KOs) halted the bout against Sladan “Balkan Super Star” Janjanin (36-16, 25 KOs) after five rounds. Jesse “Hard Work” Hart (29-3, 23 KOs) defeated Elio “La Maquina” Heraldo Trosch (15-11-2, 7 KOs) in the second round. Marcus Browne (25-2, 16 KOs) overpowered Adrian “Montu-Ra” (13-2-1, 5 KOs) over ten rounds. Damien “Sugar” Vasquez (18-3-1, 10 KOs) managed to stop Jeronil Borres (12-9-2, 6 KOs) in the sixth round. David A. Whitmire (3-0, 2 KOs) triumphed over Jordy Tientcheu (0-2) in the first round. Lastly, Daniel “Ice Man” Blancas (7-0, 4 KOs) secured a victory against Devaun Lee (11-10-1, 6 KOs) over six rounds.
