Prime Video and Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) have entered into a groundbreaking, multiyear rights agreement, marking a significant shift in the boxing landscape. This partnership will provide fans with year-round access to top-tier matchups, featuring PBC’s extensive roster of over 150 active fighters, including current world champions and top contenders.

Since its inception in 2015, PBC has hosted numerous high-profile events and staged several major pay-per-view (PPV) events in 2023, such as David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant, Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs. Ryan Garcia, Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford, and Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo. The deal with Prime Video comes as PBC’s long-standing content partnership with Showtime concludes, with Paramount Global phasing out combat sports from the network by the end of 2023.

Under the new agreement, Prime Video will distribute PBC’s leading PPV events in the U.S., with the first event expected in March 2024. These fights will be available for purchase to all viewers, regardless of Prime membership. Additionally, Prime Video will exclusively stream a series of PBC Championship Boxing events in the U.S. and select countries.

Marie Donoghue, VP of U.S. sports content & partnerships at Amazon, expressed excitement about bringing the world’s best boxers to Prime Video and expanding the sport’s reach to a global audience. Bruce Binkow, CEO of Integrated Sports and exclusive agency for PBC, also highlighted the partnership’s potential to introduce boxing to new audiences through Prime’s marketing power and extensive reach.

This collaboration not only includes live PBC events but also expands Prime Video’s Original sports content offerings. Fans can look forward to behind-the-scenes PBC docuseries, live weigh-ins, and on-demand access to previous events, highlights, archival footage, and more. This deal ensures that boxing enthusiasts can enjoy PBC content at home or on the go, accessible across a wide range of devices through the Prime Video app.
