It looks like Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn are well on their way to filling the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26. According to promoter Eddie Hearn, the event has already moved a staggering 60,000 tickets since going on sale, with only a few seats left. The stadium fits just under 63,000 for sports events, so we’re talking a near sell-out for a grudge match that’s been brewing since their famous fathers clashed back in the ‘90s.
If you recall, Eubank Jr. and Benn planned to fight back in October 2022, only for it to collapse amid Benn’s positive tests for a banned substance. While that controversy alone would’ve attracted plenty of attention, Eubank Jr. added more fuel to the fire this past Tuesday by whacking Benn in the face with an egg at the kick-off press conference. Let’s just say that got fans racing to snap up tickets.

Hearn himself is stunned by the speed of sales, saying the numbers "are back-page news and even some front pages." He believes the fight would’ve sold out anyway, given the Eubank-Benn family rivalry, but there’s no doubt the "egg-slap" incident propelled interest to new heights. Apparently, over 120,000 people queued for Wednesday’s presale - quite the scramble, you might say!
With so many seats already taken, it’s clear the April 26 fight is shaping up to be a massive event. With a red-hot ticket demand and a storied legacy to match, this is going to be one memorable night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
