Keyshawn Davis sent social media buzzing by posting a face-off photo with close friend Shakur Stevenson. The WBC lightweight champion Stevenson has already stated he would "never" fight Keyshawn for any amount of money, but that hasn’t stopped Davis from teasing fans with the idea. Many see this move as a way to draw attention before his upcoming bout.

Davis is scheduled to challenge WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk on February 14th at the Hula Theater at Madison Square Garden, live on ESPN+. Critics call Berinchyk "the weakest link" among the current lightweight titleholders and accuse Keyshawn of taking an easier path to a belt. Still, Davis insists he’s ready to deliver a knockout performance, believing this is his chance to become a major player at 135.

One point of debate is the sheer size of Davis in comparison to Stevenson. Some wonder how Keyshawn continues to make the lightweight limit given his welterweight frame. Detractors argue he should be fighting in higher weight classes against contenders like Jaron “Boots” Ennis, but Davis remains focused on 135, where he sees a straightforward route to a world title.
