Serhii Bohachuk and Brandon Adams will run it back on the September 13 preliminary undercard to Canelo Álvarez vs Terence “Bud” Crawford at Allegiant Stadium, with the free prelims streaming from 5:30 p.m. ET on Netflix’s YouTube channel. Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing leads promotion alongside Turki Alalshikh, Canelo Promotions, and TBC Fights, LLC.
Their first meeting in March 2021 saw Adams rally from behind to stop the then-unbeaten Bohachuk in eight during a closed-door show in Puerto Rico. Since then, Bohachuk ripped off six wins, claimed the WBC interim 154lbs title over Brian Mendoza, dropped a thriller to Vergil Ortiz, and has rebounded with two victories. Adams has boxed sparingly, three times in 2024, most recently dropping a split decision to Andreas Katzourakis.
The stacked prelim slate also features:
- Ivan Dychko (15-0, 14 KOs) vs. Jermaine Franklin (23-2, 15 KOs) – 10-round heavyweight clash.
- Reito Tsutsumi (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Javier Martinez (7-2, 4 KOs) – six rounds at 130lbs.
- Steven Nelson (20-1, 16 KOs) vs. Raiko Santana (12-4, 6 KOs) – super middleweight bout.
- Sultan Almohamed (17-year-old junior welterweight) pro debut vs. Martin Caraballo (0-0-1) – four rounds.
- Marco Verde (2-0, 1 KO) – 2024 Olympic silver medalist in a six-rounder at 168lbs vs TBA.
For Bohachuk - Adams, it’s the same matchup under far brighter lights - this time with a stadium crowd and the sport’s biggest main event looming over it.
