Rising super middleweight contender Junior Younan is set to headline the Rockin' Fights 48 card on September 14 at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, New York. Younan (20-0-1, 12 KOs) will take on fellow unbeaten fighter Alexis Gaytan (15-9, 5 KOs) in a 10-round bout that promises to be a thrilling test for both competitors.
Younan, a 28-year-old from Brooklyn, NY, is coming off a dominant first-round knockout victory over Ricardo Lara in May. That fight marked his debut under the Star Boxing banner and took place at the same venue where he’ll face Bajrami. Younan, known for his powerful punches and technical skill, is looking to continue his winning streak and move closer to the upper echelon of the 168-pound division.
In the co-main event, Erick Perez (2-0, 1 KO) of Passaic, New Jersey, will square off against Joseph Elzey (2-0, 1 KO) of The Bronx, New York, in a four-round junior featherweight bout. Perez, originally from Mexico, has made a strong start to his professional career and will look to continue his momentum in front of the Huntington crowd.
The undercard also features a compelling featherweight matchup between Ronny Reyes (4-1, 1 KO) of New York City and Yan Carlos Perez (2-0, 2 KOs) of the Dominican Republic in a six-round bout. Both fighters are eager to make a statement and climb the ranks in their division.
