The tournament - open solely to fighters under twenty-six with fewer than fifteen professional bouts - continues to serve as a global launch-pad, and every man left in the draw is now three victories away from lifting the José Sulaimán Trophy.
In the featherweight bracket Nigeria’s Yusuf Adisa Adeniji collides with France’s Yoni Valverde, while Italy’s Muhamet Qamili meets American hope Troy Nash. Fellow U.S. prospect Iman Lee faces South African boxer Bekizizwe Maitse, and Uzbekistan’s Ayubkhon Bakhtiyorov takes on Mexican puncher Brandon Mejía Mosqueda.
The super-lightweights promise equal intrigue.
