Misfits Boxing 22 will turn AO Arena into an ex-UFC reunion on Aug. 30, booking a bridgerweight title clash between Darren Till and Luke Rockhold, plus an interim middleweight bout pitting Tony Ferguson against influencer knockout artist Salt Papi.
Till returns for his third Misfits outing after boxing wins over Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart. The onetime UFC middleweight contender now meets former UFC and Strikeforce champion Rockhold, who steps into Misfits on the heels of a Karate Combat knockout of Joe Schilling and a prior bare-knuckle loss to Mike Perry. Their title will be contested at bridgerweight - 200 to 224 pounds.
Further down the marquee, ex-interim UFC lightweight champ Ferguson ends months of crossover hints by trading four-ounce gloves for influencer boxing rules. Riding an eight-fight MMA skid and a stalled Global Fight League deal, “El Cucuy” seeks fresh momentum against Salt Papi, whose viral stoppages were tempered by back-to-back defeats before three straight rebound wins, capped by a November Misfits 19 knockout.
Both showdowns will stream live on DAZN, marking Misfits’ latest fusion of prize-fighting pedigree and social-media spectacle—this time underpinned by former Octagon headliners chasing new belts and new buzz in the boxing ring.
