Miura Boxing is set to launch its first event of the 2024 season with a thrilling fight card on Saturday, at the Sala Urbana entertainment center in Naucalpan, State of Mexico.
The highlight of the night features Jose Andres “Loquillo” Teran (12-2, 8 KOs) from the capital city, aiming to continue his winning momentum into the new year against the formidable Jorge “El Huesos” Orozco (17-4-2, 11 KOs) in a 10-round bantamweight clash. Teran seeks to build on his three-fight victory streak from the previous year. His most recent win came against Odin Juarez Baez, whom he defeated by unanimous decision.
Opposite Terán, Jorge Luis Orozco Mendoza from Guadalajara, Jalisco, enters the ring determined to mark the start of the year with a standout performance, bringing experience and a solid track record to the bout.
The co-main event sees Diego “Gallo” Mompar of Queretaro (7-2-1, 3 KOs) facing off against Joe “El Incredible” Rodriguez (5-4-1, 2 KOs) in a lightweight contest scheduled for eight rounds. Mompar is set to kick off his year on a high note in his first fight of this length.
Additionally, the card will feature Chester Parada (12-3-1, 8 KOs) from the capital taking on Brandon “Turbo” Perez (8-2-2, 2 KOs) in a six-round catchweight fight.
