Rivera-Pizarro (10-0, 6 KOs), a rising star from Ponce, Puerto Rico, will make his third appearance of the year. In his last outing, he stopped Justin Goodson in the seventh round of their MVP 7 main event in July in Orlando. Prior to that, the 23-year-old remained unbeaten with a unanimous decision victory over David Perez in April. He is eager to continue his winning streak and impress his home crowd.

The 22-year-old stopped Isiah Rodriguez in the first round in March, marking his first appearance of 2024. Now, he steps into the ring once again, hoping to hand Rivera-Pizarro his first professional defeat.
In a statement about the fight, Rivera-Pizarro expressed his excitement for the opportunity, saying:
"Signing with Amanda Serrano, Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul, and MVP is a great opportunity for me to become a star, and I’m proud to be joining such a dynamic, talented team. Most Valuable Prospects 9 is more than just another fight for me – it’s a chance to showcase my skills and represent my home in Puerto Rico."
The fight card also features Puerto Rican flyweight Krystal Rosado-Ortiz (4-0, 2 KOs), who recently stopped Veronika Dmitriyeva in July and claimed a majority decision win over Gloria Munguilla in March. Additionally, Puerto Rican-born middleweight Alexis Chaparro (2-0, 2 KOs) of Ridgewood, New York, looks to secure his third win of the year after scoring knockouts in both his previous fights in 2024.
