Rafferty (26-0, 17 KOs) has mowed through domestic opposition since lifting the British strap by halting Henry Turner last October. Stoppage defences over Reece McMillan and Cory O’Regan underlined the 28-year-old Liverpudlian’s reputation as one of the division’s most relentless finishers—and his travelling army is expected to turn the Ice Dome into a Mersey cauldron.
Chamberlain (17-1, 12 KOs) knows something about heavy hands himself. The Portsmouth puncher held IBF European, WBA Inter-Continental and WBC Silver belts at lightweight before a first career setback to Josh Padley stalled his world-title surge last September. Promoter Frank Warren calls it “an absolute humdinger”—two front-foot fighters with a combined 29 knockouts in 43 wins, throwing down for domestic supremacy and a crack at world rankings.
