Headlining the event will be Omar Trinidad (17-0-1, 12 KOs), known as the "King of Los Angeles Boxing," defending his WBC Continental Americas featherweight belt against "Magic" Mike Plania (31-4, 18 KOs) in a ten-round battle. Trinidad is currently ranked No. 2 by the IBF at 126 lbs.
In the co-main event, WBO super flyweight champion Mizuki Hiruta (6-0, 2 KOs) of Japan makes her U.S. debut against Mexico’s Maribel Ramirez (15-10-4, 3 KOs). Also featured is Kazakh super middleweight contender Ali Akhmedov (22-1, 16 KOs), who takes on Malcolm Jones (17-4-1, 10 KOs) for ten rounds. Plus, popular hometown fighter "Right Hook" Roxy Verduzco (2-0, 0 KOs) returns in a super featherweight clash, and rising bantamweight Adan Palma (10-0, 6 KOs) continues his upward climb.
