The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame is teaming up with Hard Hitting Promotions to deliver an action-packed Fight Night at Resorts Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on Friday. The event, set to take place in the iconic Superstar Theater, will feature a series of live championship boxing bouts. Headlining the card is a 10-round junior welterweight title fight for the WBA/NABA Championship between Philadelphia's Branden Pizarro (19-1-1, 10 KOs) and Brooklyn's Wesley Ferrer (17-2-1, 8 KOs).
The co-main event will showcase a welterweight clash as Julian Rodriguez (21-1, 14 KOs) squares off against Cincinnati's Quashawn Toler (17-2, 12 KOs) in an 8-round bout, along with other exciting fights on the card.
The fight night is part of the ACBHOF’s 8th Annual Awards & Induction Weekend, a three-day celebration of boxing history in Atlantic City. The event kicks off at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City with a live SiriusXM broadcast of "At The Fights" with hosts Gerry Cooney and Randy Gordon on September 27th.
On Saturday, September 28th, boxing fans can enjoy the Fight Fan Experience and Boxing Exhibits at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, featuring displays that celebrate Atlantic City’s storied boxing history. Attendees will have the chance to interact with legends of the sport while exploring various exhibits.
The highlight of the weekend will be the red-carpet Awards & Induction Ceremony on Saturday night, where boxing royalty will gather to honor those who contributed to making Atlantic City a global hub for the sport. The formal event will take place inside the Sound Waves Theater at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, with a VIP cocktail reception preceding the ceremony from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The official induction program will follow from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a post-reception event concluding the festivities.
