In the main event, Raymond Muratalla (20-0, 16 KOs) will face former world champion Tevin Farmer (33-5-1, 8 KOs) at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas live on ESPN+.

Initially, the main event featured unified middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly who was set to defend his WBO and IBF world titles against unbeaten contender Andrei Mikhailovich, but later on he was hospitalized for dehydration Thursday night, forcing the postponement of his title defense.

Muratalla is confident ahead of the match.

"I think it’s going to be a good fight. We’ve seen him before and he’s a good boxer. He moves well, punches well. I just think I’m on another level right now. I’m too big, I’m too strong, I’m fast, and I think my ring IQ is going to be too much for him that night. I think it’s going to show. He’s never faced a fighter like me and I think we’re going to see that July 13."

Farmer may present a tricky challenge, as he has the ability to make Muratalla miss, but the 27-year-old Californian sees this fight as a necessary step towards future bouts with elite fighters like Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney.

"Exactly, that’s what we want – it’s perfect for me. I think it’s going to be great just to show the fans that a different style doesn’t mean anything to me because I’m able to adapt to different styles. It’s going to be a great one. I can’t wait to show a different style that I can bring against a fighter like that."

Looking beyond Farmer, Muratalla has his eyes on potential title fights.

"Definitely a Shakur fight would be great for the fans, it’s something we want. There is also a guy [Denys] Berinchyk, that recently got the [WBO] belt. I’m all for that. He’s with Top Rank, I’m with Top Rank, I think that could definitely happen as well." However, he remains focused on his current opponent. "I’m not looking past Tevin Farmer but I think that’s definitely a fight that could happen next."

Tevin Farmer brings a wealth of experience to the ring. Having faced early career struggles, Farmer has sparred with top fighters like Vasiliy Lomachenko and earned his IBF junior lightweight title by defeating Billy Dib in Australia. He successfully defended his title four times before losing to Joseph Diaz. Muratalla aims to make a statement against Farmer and propel himself into the spotlight with a commanding performance.
