Wichita Falls native 18-year-old Emanuel “El Trompo” Moreno (3-0) is a six-time National Champion, with an amateur record of 141 wins and only 15 losses is set to meet Manuel Chavez Garcia (1-1) in the 6-round bantamweight main event bout at the El Corral West Night Club, Fort Worth, Texas.

As an amateur, the former soccer player turned boxer became a six-time national champion, four-time golden glove regional champion, and a five-time junior Olympic state champion. After 156 amateur fights, Emanuel Moreno concluded it was time to take his talent to the professional ranks. In his professional debut, Moreno won a unanimous decision against tough veteran Christian Alejandro Silva in Oklahoma City.
