Hall of Fame boxer Floyd Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) will compete in an exhibition fight against Aaron Chalmers (1-0) on February 25 at London's 02 Arena.
The 45-year-old Mayweather had five exhibition matches by far, against kickboxer and MMA fighter Tenshin Nasukawa, boxer Don Moore, YouTube star Logan Paul, MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, and most recently, Youtube star Deji Olatunji in November 2022. Also, he defeated Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor to cap off his career.
Mayweather had previously announced on social media that he would face Muay Thai star Liam Harrison, but Harrison has since been forced to withdraw due to a knee injury.
“I was originally supposed to face a different opponent, but injuries happen and I’m glad that Aaron Chalmers could step up so that we could give the fans what they want,” said Mayweather. “The fans in the U.K. have always been great to me and supported me throughout my career, so an event like this has been a long time coming. I’m excited to add more history to the O2 Arena in London.”
The fight will be shown live around the world on Zeus Network.
