In the main event of the evening, Philadelphia’s own Paul Kroll (9-0-1, 6 KOs) taking on Eduardo Rafael Reyes (11-18, 6 KOs) of Mexico in a six-round super welterweight bout at the Newtown Sports and Events Center in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
This much-anticipated bout is a testament to Kroll’s upward trajectory in the boxing world. Kroll has notched impressive wins over Shinard Bunch, Luke Santamaria, and Mark Dawson. However, his most recent outing was a draw with Marquis Taylor in February 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Despite this, Kroll’s supporters are optimistic that he’ll return to winning ways against Reyes, who recently achieved his best win over Brian Agustin Arregui in December 2022.
The boxing action doesn’t stop there. An eight-round super lightweight bout is on the card, where Samuel Teah (19-4-1, 8 KOs), takes on Andrew Rodgers (7-11-2, 2 KOs). Moreover, the event also features a variety of six and four-round bouts, highlighting promising talents such as Isaiah Johnson (7-0, 5 KOs), Erron Peterson (3-0-1, 2 KOs), and Nimal Farmer (3-0, 3 KOs). Notably, Steve Cunningham Jr. (1-0, 1 KO), the son of former two-time cruiserweight world champion Steve Cunningham, is stepping into the ring in a junior middleweight bout against an opponent yet to be announced.
