Former unified junior-middleweight champion Jarrett Hurd (25-3, 17 KOs) is gearing up for his first fight of 2024 as he prepares to face Dominican contender Jeison Rosario (24-4-1, 18 KOs) at the ProBox TV Events Center.

Hurd, who hails from Accokeek, Maryland, has faced some tough times in recent years, losing three of his past five fights. However, he comes into this match on the back of a victory over Tyi Edmonds in December.

Rosario, based in Florida, has had a more successful recent run, winning four of his last five bouts. His only loss in that stretch came against Erickson Lubin, who stopped him in six rounds in June 2021.

The event promises more exciting matchups, including a middleweight clash featuring unbeaten southpaw Darrelle Valsaint (11-0, 9 KOs) from Florida against California-based Mexican southpaw Angel Ruiz Astorga (18-3-1, 13 KOs).

Additionally, rising super featherweight prospect Dominic Valle (9-0, 7 KOs), also from Florida, will take on Kevin Piedrahita Puerta (9-2, 8 KOs), a Colombian residing in Las Vegas.
