Fight Details

Sam Goodman (18-0, 8 KOs) headlines a fight at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, facing undefeated Thai boxer Chainoi “Rock Man” Worawut (25-0-1, 15 KOs). This marks Goodman’s second headlining bout in his hometown of Albion Park in 2024, following his dominant fourth-round knockout of Mark Schleibs in a high-stakes grudge match. Goodman’s victory preserved his No. 1 ranking with both the IBF and WBO, keeping him on track for a mandatory title shot against Naoya Inoue.

Worawut, also known as Thattana Luangphon, is ranked No. 8 by the WBC. This will be the 26-year-old’s first fight outside of Thailand, after his points win over Peng Su in March.

“I am delighted to be heading back to one of Australia’s premier fight cities and delivering another hometown show for Sam Goodman,” promoter Rose said. “He is on the cusp of greatness but has another tough task, and even tougher Thai, ahead of him on July 10.”

In addition to the main event, two-time world title challenger Liam Wilson (13-3, 7 KOs) will return to Australian soil after his defeat to Oscar Valdez for the WBO interim super featherweight title in March. Wilson will face fellow Australian Youssef “Uwee” Dib (21-1, 11 KOs) at lightweight. Dib secured a TKO victory over North Beauchamp in his last fight and is the brother of former IBF featherweight champion Billy Dib.

The event will also feature a cross-code battle between AFL legend Barry Hall (0-1-1, 0 KOs) and former NRL player Curtis Scott (2-0, 2 KOs). This intriguing match-up is expected to be action-packed and likely won’t go the distance. Additionally, Commonwealth Games representative Billy Polkinghorn (1-0, 1 KO) will make his No Limit Boxing debut against Jordan Kasilieris (1-2-1, 1 KO).

Fans can also look forward to seeing some of Australia’s best rising stars, including Brandon Grach, Liam Talivaa, Toese Vosiutu, Mounir Fathi, and Shanell Dargan. Furthermore, the successful No Limit on Fox fight nights will return on July 3, live from Sydney, with Nathaniel ‘Cheeky’ May headlining against Jose Matias Romero for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental super featherweight title.
