A bantamweight showdown between Manuel “Guccy Manny” Flores (18-1, 14 KOs) and Victor Olivo (21-4-1, 9 KOs) will headline the October 24 card at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California. The event, promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, will be broadcast live on DAZN and YouTube.
Flores, a 25-year-old from nearby Coachella, turned pro as a bantamweight in 2017. Although this bout is scheduled at bantamweight, Flores hasn’t competed within the 118-pound limit since June 2021. His only loss came in June 2023 against Walter Santibanes. Since then, Flores has bounced back with three consecutive second-round stoppage victories, including a win over Nohel Arambulet in July.

"I’m excited to headline in my hometown again and redeem myself," Flores said. "My opponent is durable, and we’ll be prepared for everything. Expect fireworks as always!"
Olivo, hailing from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, is 28 years old with a solid record. His last fight, at 115 pounds, ended in a unanimous decision loss to Argi Cortes in January. Looking to capitalize on this opportunity, Olivo stated, "Manuel Flores is a great fighter, but I’m ready for the challenge. A win here will open many doors for me."
