Eubank vs. McKenna

March 7, 2025 | The Brighton Centre, Brighton, Sussex, United Kingdom

Network: Channel 5

Fight Details

Harlem Eubank and Tyrone McKenna will collide at welterweight at the Brighton Centre, live on Channel 5. In November, Eubank made a somewhat untidy 147-pound debut by outpointing Nurali Erdogan over eight rounds, while McKenna topped it off with a wild two-round shootout against Dylan Moran just two weeks later.

A nephew of former world champion Chris Eubank, Harlem has steadily raised his profile by fighting on terrestrial television and honing his skills under trainer Adam Booth. Now 30, he’s eager for a serious test. McKenna, known for his high-risk style and ability to drag opponents into firefights, ticks every box. "I’m in this game for exciting fights," Eubank said.

McKenna, 34, briefly retired after losing to Lewis Crocker but later returned for a tough defeat to Mohamed Mimoune. Still, the Irish warrior showed there's plenty of fight left in him by outlasting Dylan Moran in what he calls "arguably the most violent six minutes" of his career. Having tangled with the likes of Regis Prograis and Jack Catterall, McKenna believes his experience against elite opposition gives him an edge over Eubank.

Promoter Wasserman had previously looked at other foes for Eubank - including Robbie Davies Jr. - but opted for the crowd-pleasing McKenna. With both men keen to prove their worth at 147, fight fans can expect fireworks when the bell rings on March 7 in Brighton.
