SES Boxing is returning to Chemnitz on November 2nd with a big night of fights at the "Kraftverkehr." The headliner for the event has been confirmed, as light heavyweight Tom Dzemski (21-2, 11 KOs) will take on Nick Hannig (13-1-1, 6 KOs) for the WBO European Championship. This matchup has been in the works for some time and promises to deliver fireworks.

Dzemski, who last fought in Chemnitz when he lost on points to Daniel Blenda Dos Santos for the EBU European title, will be looking to redeem himself in front of his hometown fans. The 26-year-old is eager to bounce back and capture the WBO version of the European belt, but he faces a tough challenge in Hannig, a former WBC International champion known for his fan-friendly, aggressive style.

Hannig, 38, hasn't been as active in recent years, with his last fight taking place in November 2023 in Berlin. While he won that bout, the performance left some questioning whether he still has what it takes at the top level. This fight against Dzemski will be a significant test for both fighters as they aim to solidify their place in the light heavyweight division.
