Zak Chelli (15-2-1, 7 KOs) is set to defend his British and Commonwealth super middleweight titles against the unbeaten mandatory challenger Callum Simpson (14-0, 10 KOs) on August 3 at Oakwell Stadium in Barnsley, England. Presented by Boxxer, the event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the U.K. and Ireland, and on Peacock in the U.S.

Tickets are not available yet and are expected to sell out with a strictly limited 7,000 seating capacity set for the summer stadium event.

Chelli from London, claimed the titles with a unanimous points victory over Jack Cullen at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool this past January.

"Winning the British and Commonwealth titles was the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice. This is just the beginning for me. Simpson is too scared to challenge me for my titles in London, so I’ll show him what a real fighter is and fight him on his home turf. On August 3, my hand will be raised and the belts will remain around my waist."

Simpson, 27, earned his shot at Chelli’s titles through a series of impressive performances, most notably a fourth-round knockout victory over Tanzania’s Dulla Mbabe at London’s O2 Arena in May. Confident of delivering another knockout performance, Simpson is eager to seize the opportunity in front of his hometown supporters at Oakwell Stadium:

In the co-main event, Caroline Dubois (9-0, 5 KOs) will fight Maira Moneo (14-1, 3 KOs) for the IBO World Light and WBC Interim World Light titles.
