Ahmed “The American Pharaoh” ElBiali, originally from Cairo, Egypt and now a Miami resident, will be defending his title which he won in his most recent fight at Casino Miami, riding a wave of five consecutive knockout victories. He’ll be up against Rodolfo “Cobrita” Gomez, originally from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, who now calls Laredo, Texas home. Gomez previously went ten grueling rounds against the undefeated Diego Pacheco and knocked out former world champion Ricardo Mayorga in 2018. Also in the undercard, former World Champion, Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux (21-3, 14 KOs), is set to make his much-anticipated return to the ring on June 9th.
